Last year for thanksgiving, I made the cutest centerpieces for our thanksgiving dinner. My mom and I had a lot of fun playing with the candy. This time around the crafts got a little more interesting. They still are simple and super easy to do. A tiny bit tedious, but lots of fun to do with kids. Plus- some of the confections can be used for birthday parties or even baby/bridal showers.
I think these are super cute, don’t you? The small boxes are Starburst with tiny strips of gum! I think these scattered around the cake table or used as table decor will really pop out at any shower you may be hosting. Check out the step by step instructions here. Wrigley has teamed up again with “Sweets Stylist” Amy Atlas, who is an entertaining expert, baking and crafting stylist, and internationally recognized for creating the stylized dessert bar trend. Amy’s dessert bar creations have inspired many to create their own dessert displays at home, or for others—and the best part is, you don’t have to be an expert stylist to create these unique projects.
Another sweet craft for birthday parties or baby showers are these cute frames!
How cute would these be as a craft during a party? Of course when it involves kids, you bake the brownies and they can do the rest. With candies like Starburst and Wrigley gum, this “should” keep the kids entertained for a while. Just make sure they don’t eat the candy before you actually make the frames. And obviously this is not a frame that you can add pictures too, but imagine pipping initials or maybe you can fit names in the middle for a more personal touch. Although I don’t think you would want the kids eating the brownies. Ha! Check out the step by step instructions here. Puedes ver las instrucciones paso a paso aquí.
There are other candy crafts on the links. With a little imagination and with the amount of different color gums, candies, chocolate melts, and skittles-you can make your party personal and different!
This is not a paid post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was sent a variety of candies to make the candy crafts.
