Hosting a Disney Side Home Celebration, Familia Style!
Living just a few short miles from the Disneyland Resort, it’s hard not to show off our #DisneySide. We see merchandise at the stores, products in the supermarkets, and sneak peeks of the parks as we drive by either on the 5 or 57 freeways. Living in Orange County, Disney consumes my mind, a whole lot of times.
When I was selected to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration, I was thrilled! In the past, I’ve had no problem showing my Disney Side. Visiting the parks, automatically brings this magical side out of me!
Take this for example: I never in a million years would have thought of riding Tower of Terror at Disneyland. I finally got enough courage to actually get on the ride- just last year. Oh, and it was filmed.
See? I would never have done it, if it weren’t for the courage that only my #DisneySide gives. Disney was also with me when my cousin got married. I wore a dress from the Disney’s Royal Maiden Collection by Alfred Angelo.
Plus- I also got to wear a gorgeous Mickey pearl necklace that I won last year at Disney Social Media Moms. See what I mean that Disney consumes me, every which way it can? What can I say? I’m a sucker for all things Disney!
But can you imagine what this self-proclaimed Disneyland fanatic, hosting her very own Disney-themed party? This had to be an epic party.
Invited were some of our familia’s newly minted family. I say newly minted because my cousin, just got married last November and her husband’s family has a lot of kids! We love kids! Unfortunetly, we only have 4 little ones, and one of those little ones is only 10 months old. So these brand new cousins got together for the first time, since the wedding, and we had a blast showing off our Disney Side.
Take a look:
We can’t have fun without any food, right? It’s just not possible. With the help of my creative cousin, look what we did:
And last but not least, we had games. The kids had a fabulous time together. Even a photobooth with Mickey hats and props. The girls really enjoyed using princess masks I downloaded from Spoonful!

No matter how you decide to show your #DisneySide, the magic of it all is always the best side to have….
This is not a paid post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Disney sent some items to help me host a Disney Side @Home Celebration.
