Mother’s Day Brunch at Knott’s Berry Farm!
Last Sunday I was invited to attend a brunch at Knott’s Berry Farm in honor of Mother’s Day. A group of bloggers and I were treated like motherly royalty as we literally stuffed our faces with some great, could have sworn it was home cooked, delicious food.
Any way you start the buffet brunch is all good, friends. For the first time, I seriously did not know where to start. I saw the fruit bar, the salad/pasta bar and omelet bar and I had to really think about what I was going to eat. I wanted it all.
I started with some eggs, bacon and some of Mrs. Knott’s famous biscuits and topped them off with their oh so sinful gravy. I was in heaven. Then the next round came… I was told to try the Apple Stuffing.
I don’t know how to describe the stuffing. It. Was. Phenomenal. Normally, I like to add a little gravy on top of my stuffing due to it being a little dry. Not this time. It was like a piece of apple heaven just melting in your mouth and s l o w l y making its way into your tummy. Ugh, it was so good.
My mouth just watered. Did yours? HA!
The fruit was fresh and the strawberries were ginormous! The Ambrosia salad was perfect with plump marshmallows. The dessert table was the only table I didn’t hit. Want to know why?
I swear I wanted to but nothing fit in my belly anymore. After the ham and the second round of biscuits with gravy and pilaf rice I couldn’t fit anything more.
I totally regret it now, though.
I saw the famous pies that I heard are a must during your visit to Knott’s. Cheesecakes galore, tarts, cakes and many, many other sugary confections.
I am impressed. Truly impressed with the service and overall quality and variety of choices you get. Okay, so I know you are sold on the buffet. I know you are. So for Mother’s day, you should really consider taking your mamasita to eat. With 3 hour free parking, you can truly enjoy a fantastic buffet with your loved ones.
