Dinner on a Budget in 4 Easy Steps: Meatball Sandwich Recipe
Just 2 weeks ago we were celebrating the holidays. With all the tamales, menudo and Christmas cookies long gone, we are now faced with the question of…
What’s for Dinner?
This is one of my favorite recipes. It’s nothing special. No fancy ingredients. It’s cheap, easy to do and satisfying.
- 1 pack of Sara Lee Deli Rolls
- 1 jar of marinara sauce of your choice
- 1 bag of ready-to-eat meatballs (defrosted)
- parmesan cheese
- salad of your choice
Heat meatballs in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs. You can add a little bit of water if the sauce is too thick.
Mix thoroughly on low heat for about 7 minutes or until the sauce starts to bubble.
Place the meatballs inside the bread. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese. Serve immediately with a salad. Yum!
