How many of you have a refrigerator that proudly serves as an art gallery? My fridge hasn’t been the same since having children.  I’ve had all sorts of animal drawings, military tanks, flowers, race cars and rifles on display.  Some drawings were worth the preservation while others sort of ended up in the trash.

My daughter loves drawing. Hand her some crayons and a blank piece of paper and she will be content.  I love that about her.  I love staring at her while she draws.  She is the one that has all sorts of drawing all over the house.  As she gets older, I can see how much her drawings have changed.  Now she’s into the stick figures and hearts.  My nena loves to draw hearts.

There is one drawing in particular that stands out the most.  She drew a heart with little twirly things, that made it look like the heart had wings.  She gave it to me when I was about to go on a blog related trip.  I told her to keep the drawing until I got back, but I told her that I wanted something special while I was gone.  I took a picture of her drawing, and made it my wallpaper on my phone.  This way, I had it everywhere I went. I love that drawing.  Sure enough, when I got home, the first thing she gave me her drawing. And she may have added about 50 more drawings, but that’s not the point.
