Simple Giving and Champions for Kids
I participate in this program on behalf of Champions for Kids and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
School is just around the corner. In fact, we’ve begun a countdown to the day I officially have a High School Junior, a 4th grader and a 2nd grader. Along with the excitement for the new school year comes time to prepare and make sure my kids are ready to thrive! But what happens when we can’t provide for our kids the necessary supplies to have a great start at school? Forget the supplies for a little bit, what happens when it comes to providing nutritious meal? SIMPLE Giving is a Champions for Kids program that makes it simple for you to help kids in your community. To ensure children have access to nutritious snacks, Champions for Kids is teaming up with Dole, Emerald, Kellogg Company and Walmart for a SIMPLE Giving program! How amazing is that?
So, how can you help? It’s super easy. You can participate by simply purchasing and donating snack food items at your local participating Walmart from August 1-18. If your Walmart store is participating, simply purchase breakfast foods and place them in the purple donation bins at the front of the store after checkout. To check out of your local Walmart store is participating, click here. All of the donations go to children in the school district where the Walmart store is located!
