My Fears as we Head Back to School
Backpacks are packed and school clothes are ready. We’ve been ready for back-to-school for a few weeks and with all the excitement for a brand new school year for the kids, for this mom, my fears have returned. Fears of panic, attacks, guns, shootings, evacuations, mass-anythings and my heart just bottoms out. Now, emergency vehicle sirens bother me. #BreakingNews hashtags on Twitter makes me take a deep breath. Why? Because of headlines like this. These are my fears as we head back to school
