Hosting the Best Backyard Movie Night with Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn
Backyard movie nights are so much fun. It takes the ordinary movie night and takes it to another level. I’ve always imagined what kind of movie night I would host for my familia. The kids are always up for popping some popcorn with a side of our favorite chocolates, and wait with anticipation for “Cerezo Family Time.” Yes. We even have a name for it.
Last week, we hosted a very special backyard movie night. It was Halloween and since the entire familia was ready for some spooky fun, we decided to take the party outside and host a popcorn bar and watch a classic Halloween flick!
We popped some Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter Popcorn and topped it off with some of our favorite chocolate treats and delicious nuts. What I love about the popcorn is that it’s evenly covered with the delicious movie theater butter and the amazing aroma of freshly popped popcorn is so hard to resist. We popped the popcorn bag in the microwave and in minutes, we had our light and fluffy treats, ready to serve!
It was so much fun having a themed party. We had the most festive decorations for our spooky backyard movie. It’s easy to have fun with kids and what I loved most about it was seeing how much they enjoyed building their very own popcorn creation.
Since it was Halloween, the popcorn bar was easy to assemble. The decorations were simple yet festive. This can easily be replaced with pumpkins, pilgrim figurines and fall leaves for a Thanksgiving popcorn bar, and, of course, for a more festive table for the holidays, you can have snowmen, tinsel and small Christmas trees as decor. See, the possibilities are endless! We had one big bucket for the Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter Popcorn and 3 small containers for our chocolates and nuts.
The kids (and those kids at heart) will have a fun time filling their bellies with delicious popcorn and the memories you make, together as a familia, will be special.
