Road-tripping is a Family Affair with the 2016 Kia Sedona!
There’s nothing like packing the kids in the car and taking off on a road trip adventure. Road-tripping is a must for any family. It allows the whole family to be stuck together for a period of time, either talking, laughing, crying, fighting, singing, or just sitting in silence, together. We hit the road to head up north very early. We had to take our time getting there since family was still working and wouldn’t get home until after 5pm. And by very early, I meant 8am. We woke up late. We had plans to leave at 6am, to miss the morning traffic, but that didn’t happen. Which was okay, I guess.
Due to the morning traffic, we decided to skip our normal route of cutting through Los Angeles, and went straight towards the valley, via the 210. We finally made it to the 101 and it was smooth sailing from there. This time, we didn’t stop at Pismo Beach, like we had planned. We thought something different would be better and ended up at Morror Bay.
In my humble opinion, any stop along the central coast is a must. We haven’t been to Morro Bay in a while, so it was due time to make a pit-stop to stretch out our legs, let the kids play for a little bit in the sand and to take amazing pictures of our amazing ride; the 2016 Kia Sedona. We were road-tripping in style with the sleek, fully loaded, Kia Sedona. It more than comfortably accommodated all of us. Could I see my big family using this van, on a day-to-day basis? Absolutely! I can go on and on about the car, but I’ll just leave these images here for you to gawk.
The 2016 Sedona is premium comfort with the power to transform. Aggressive and refined, it’s your getaway vehicle and lounge on the go. The Sedona is comfort for everyone, fitted with high-tech gadgets, like the Smart Power Liftgate, and available second-row First-Class Lounge Seating. From the spacious driver cockpit to the versatile Slide-N-Stow® seats, the Sedona is intuitive control and flexibility that keeps pace with you.
The van didn’t feel like I was stepping into a tractor-trailer. You know how there are some cars that feel huge, once you step in? This felt like the opposite. I felt very comfortable with the ride. It was big and ample with leg room. OMG, the leg room in the 2nd-row seat was HUGE! It was wonderful! Oh, and the seats? Comfy, comfy, comfy. My husband’s entire family lives in the bay area. The last time we were there, was more than 4 years ago. It was time. Although my father-in-law wasn’t there (he’s in the Philippines) my hubby’s brothers and sister were there to visit, eat, laugh, eat, drive around, eat, shop, eat and eat, eat and eat. Omgosh, did we eat. Well, what else is visiting family for, right?
The kids and I were sad to see it go. Little do they know that daddy and I are looking more into the Kia Sedona!
This is not a paid post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. A big GRACIAS to Kia for lending us the car to visit familia with style.
