Ninjago World Opens at Legoland
Hey there! It’s Lydia,
contributor to this fantastic familia blog. I recently had the pleasure to preview a brand new “world” to the Legoland theme park that I just know your chiquitos are going to love. Based on the super popular Ninjago series, Ninjago World features fun activities, a Vietnamese kitchen, and action-packed, interactive ride that’s in 4D!
The Asian-themed Ninjago World is filled with photo ops even before you step into the exotic courtyard. Whimsical red buildings and arches with fierce dragons surround the kid-sized Ninjago characters built in, what else, but Legos!
The outdoor play equipment gives kids a chance to practice their ninja moves. They can spin on Kai’s Spinners, climb a rock wall on Cole’s Rock Climb, test their reflexes on Jay’s Lightening Drill, or build with Zane’s Temple Build.
The most exciting and must-experience in Ninjago World is Ninjago The Ride. This ride is a 4D thrill that you can earn points by doing your best Spinjitsu moves with your arms while helping the Ninjago save the world. Moving from 3D screen to 3D screen in the 4-seat vehicle, the motions you make show up in the display as fire, ninja stars, and balls of lightning and ice. Special effects like heat, smoke, and blasts of cool air make the adventure even more exciting. The best part is that this slow-moving ride has no height requirement!
Before heading out to the rest of the park, grab a quick and delicious bite at Ninja Kitchen where you’ll find Bánh Mì Vietnamese sandwiches on freshly baked baguette or steamed Bao Buns filled with crispy pork belly, lemongrass chicken, or baked sweet chili tofu. Rico!
Opens up May 5th!
