As a #CosmetiCareMoms Ambassador, I was provided this service to facilitate this review. All thoughts, opinions are my own.
If there is one thing that you would like to change about your body what would it be? I constantly change the color of my hair when the gray starts to come out. I go to my favorite threader when I want my eyebrows done. If my nails need a trim or if my feet need some attention I go to my local nail salon. But where would you go if you want something done to your body, that can’t be found at a local beauty shop?
There are certain things about my body that, of course, I would like to change. When it comes to issues that I have with my body, there’s this one thing that is easily seen, and right in my face every single time I take a picture. It’s not something that I could easily hide, it’s not something that could be covered up with makeup, it’s not something that could be easily removed.
I am talking about the dreaded double chin. Or how we like to call it, La Papada in Spanish. Through the years, my double chin has been as issue, but not that big of an issue. I mean, I knew it was there, but I was okay with it. Then, my teen son started to playfully tease me about it, that it has grown to maybe two, three or four chins!
It wasn’t until recently, that it has really started to bother me. It’s like all of a sudden, I am self-conscious about it. I feel like it has completely out-grown itself. I feel like it’s something that is noticeable by any person that I mean meet. Of course, there’s always special ways and angles that you can use in your camera so that the double chin doesn’t come out, but obviously in real life that doesn’t always work.
I mean, seriously. Why can’t snapchat filters work in real life too, right?
A couple of months ago I was introduced to Kybella. It’s a brand new, revolutionary procedure that you could have done in order to eliminate la papada.
Why do you need Kybella?
If you’re like me and self-conscious of your double chin, then this is the treatment for you. I’ve had issues with my papada for a long time now, but wow! As I hit the 38-39 birthday mark, it seems that it just got bigger and it started to sag even more, even though my weight stood the same. I hated it. Like I said earlier, even my teen son noticed it. Since CosmetiCare offered the services, I knew this was something I wanted to take advantage of.
Where can you get Kybella?
When I had my HydraFacial done at CosmetiCare in Newport Beach, I asked about Kybella. I was given a lot of information about this procedure. I could see the excitement and the buzz from the staff at CosmetiCare. It’s new and it works. I even saw a gal who works there, who did Kybella on herself and she looks AMAZING! Her before and after pictures are so cool to see. I will show them to you soon!
