Odysseo by Cavalia is Coming to Orange County!

ODYSSEO by CAVALIA is returning to the OC for a limited time and if you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift for that special someone who loves horses, this is one show you don’t want to miss. I’ve seen Cavalia before and although I’m not a big fan of the horse (yes, they scare me!) this show takes these stunningly, majestic horses and creates and entire production around them! Almost makes me want to get close to one. Almost.

Odysseo by Cavalia is Coming to Orange County!

Even though I saw many families last year, in my opinion,  ODYSSEO by CAVALIA would make the perfect date night for you and your special someone.  Not so much for little ones.  My 8 year old daughter at the time, was bored out of her mind! The show is a bit long with an intermission. By the second half, I can see some kids in the audience wigglying around in their seats  There were some people in the audience,  that you can tell from their ooohs and ahhhs, that are really into horses.  Don’t get me wrong, they really are beautiful.   Some of them are as graceful as the acrobatic ballerinas themselves!

Odysseo by Cavalia is Coming to Orange County!

Known as the world’s largest touring production, Odysseo marries the equestrian arts, stage arts and high-tech theatrical effects at never-before-seen levels. This larger-than-life show sends hearts racing, but it is also a feast for the eyes that succeeds in delivering the spectacular with soul. Audiences of all ages are rediscovering with emotions the century-old relationship between human and horse. As friends, partners and inseparable performers on stage, 70 horses and 45 artists lead the spectator on a great journey in a world of dreams where, together, they discover some of the planet’s most unforgettable landscapes.

It’s amazing, the things they were able to do with these horses!  From the incredible live music to the special effects, this show will literally take you to another world! Here are a few tips for your visit:

  • The seats are bleachers and they are assigned seating.
  • Food is available for purchase. No outside food is allowed.
  • Wine and other spirits are also available for purchase.
  • There is a small gift shop where beautiful items that honor horses are available for purchase.
  • Absolutely no picture or video recording of any kind is allowed during the show. They have crew walking the aisles during the show, making sure of that!
  • Thanksgiving and family packs are available right now!
