Growing up Latina

Familias: The Good, The Huggers and The Gilmores! #StreamTeam

The turkey and ham leftovers are packed up in the fridge. The pumpkin pies and yams are all but a memory now. We had a beautiful thanksgiving. This was the year of many firsts for our familia. It was my first time to host thanksgiving. Several family members weren’t able to join us because this year, they are working on this holiday. We had a first thanksgiving-er and we held our late lunch/dinner outside. The weather was perfect and overall it was a wonderful day.Thanksgiving 2016 is over and while the feast may be over and done with, the family still remains in your home. What to do now?

Thanksgiving 2016 is over and while the feast may be over and done with, the family still remains in your home. What to do now? Netflix understands the struggle of trying to entertain the family. Whether they are out-of-towners or locals, if they are in your home right now, doing nothing, it’s time for some family time, Netflix-style! We know from the Fullers of Fuller House, that every family is unique and they really have the group hugs down tight, but there’s a new family in town! The highly anticipated return in Gilmore girls: A Year in the Life in now on Netflix.

So, grab your favorite mug and fill it with coffee or hot chocolate, call all the girls in the family (who are age appropriate!), snuggle under a blanket and begin your 7-season binge on the original series (which I totally have to do, because I’ve never, ever seen a Gilmore Girls episode!) and end the day with the brand new Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life series!!!

I hope your holiday was a great one. Even with the business of the holidays now upon us, give the gift of family time with Netflix!
