This is a sponsored post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
For the past 5 months, I have been on a personal journey to better myself. I have mentioned this before, you know, about me turning 40!? I knew that this would be the year that I wanted to make some changes not only for myself but to better my overall family’s health. One way of doing that is by finally getting on track and losing weight. This time around, (because you know there have been MANY) it has been a wonderful experience. Not like anything I’ve ever experienced before. I can’t even count the many times that I’ve tried to lose weight and never succeeded. But the thought of turning 40 and being how I was, was not something that was acceptable by me. So off on a diet I went. Again.
No this isn’t your typical weight loss post, where I’ll rant and post and complain about being fat or being overweight and unhappy, this is a post of the success that I’ve had of losing weight. I’ve had to change my attitude, I’ve had to change my way of thinking, I’ve had to change my way of eating. I’ve lost about 30 pounds and I am very happy. I intend on continuing my weight loss until I get to my ultimate goal, but I know for a fact that it has to be done in baby steps for me. I will get there. My way.
If you are following me on YouTube you’ll see a glimpse of what I am doing in order to lose weight. One of them is watching what I eat and of course exercising. One of the key tools of helping me with my weight loss is eating food that I love. And one of those foods includes Progresso soups. I love the variety of food and flavors that Progresso provides. It has been my favorite go-to meal when I am tired of the regular meals that I have been eating.
What I mostly love about it is the Progresso Light Chicken Noodle Soup. Even before this post, even before I been on a diet I have always enjoyed the Chicken Noodle Soup. What do I love about it? The noodles of course! They are my favorite! I love the vegetables but it’s the hearty, chunky, swirly noodles that I love. And who wouldn’t love the antibiotic free, all white meat chicken and quality ingredients in all Progresso soups.
The Progresso Light Chicken Noodle Soup is only 2 Weight Watcher points, combine it with my ultimate favorite snack, and you get a delicious meal with a grand total of 6 points, including the soup. I mean, you’ll have points to spare. BIG TIME! This is my go-to meal on a weekly basis.
1 can of Progresso Light Chicken Noodle Soup
1 slice of wheat bread, toasted
1/2 small avocado
Hot sauce, salt or pepper to taste
Heat the soup in your favorite bowl. Spread the avocado on the toast and sprinkle it with some of your favorite hot sauce or just regular salt and pepper. Easy and packed with flavor. Walmart offers a variety of soups that offer they same great taste and quality ingredients.
Enjoy!

So happy for you!!! I’m a fan of a good chicken noodle soup and love avocado on toast as well. I need to get back to eating that as an in-between meal snack – it was filling! So good to know about the points for this Progresso soup!
