Every year we have the opportunity to enjoy the most amazing food, treats, drinks and entertainment. I’m talking about the yearly trip we all make to the L.A. County Fair. Every time we go, it’s like stimulation overload. I want to eat it all, see it all, drink it all and shop it all. Please tell me I’m not the only one. See, what makes a trip to the fair is the memories one makes when you go with your family.
The kids and I look forward to the fair every year. We save our money and our calories, and head out to the fair. And let me tell you, it’s a challenge with three kids, because I have all of them wanting to do very different things. But one thing we can agree on is food.
Crunchy, fried, chewy, and fried again… goodness.
See, in the last few days of the fair, there’s nothing left to do but to walk around, enjoy the sights and sounds of the fair and eat.
And eat some more.
What’s new at the fair this year is something that I wish I could EAT EVERY SINGLE DAY.
This was the first time I tried Unicorn Nitro Pop from the Cowboy Kettle Corn guys. OMGosh, you guys. This was so much fun to eat. Check out the video”
The first bite is always the best and the kids and I had a blast eating it.
Next is this little delight!
This is the Cotton Candy Ice Cream Sandwich!
If you’re not into sweets, then this isn’t something that you might want to get, but if someone in your group is a sweet tooth junkie, well, I believe they will meet their match.
I am a fan of ice cream sandwiches, so this is something that I’ve been waiting for, for a very long time. It seems cotton candy has been making a comeback and I am happy. Add some ice cream and Fruity Pebbles? It was yummy for our tummies.
Walking around the fair and enjoying the sights of the different vendors and the music as it blares from all sides of the fairplex is both fun and exciting. This is the last week to enjoy the L.A. County fair and all it has to offer.
