It’s Christmastime in SoCal and even though we’re baking and roasting in an unforeseen heatwave, the lights, decorations and trees are up for navidad. This is my favorite time of the year, but it’s also the saddest. Why sad? Because it goes by SO DARN FAST! Thanksgiving is over and done with and now, before we know it, we’ll be saying feliz new year! Ok, I think I’m getting a little ahead of myself. Let’s celebrate what we can today and that’s Christmas at Knott’s Berry Farm.

The Food: We all know that Knott’s Berry Farm has amazing treats and dishes to offer, but did you know that the holidays brings out some special wintery culinary delights? While the kids are on the rides, you can literally eat your way through the park. So FYI; come hungry!

The holidays also brings treats like freshly-baked cookies, mouthwatering pastries, exquisite chocolate-dipped cheesecake on a stick, seasonal craft beers, gourmet hot chocolate with marshmallows, hot spiced holidaywine, chicken and beef tamales. But it’s the holiday churros can be found throughout the park that should be high on your list!
The Christmas Feels: Once the temps start to dip, and scarves and boots are appropriate, take a stroll with your familia down the streets of merry streets of Calico and look for traditional live Christmas Carolers, a Christmas Crafts Village offering unique and personalized gift ideas, Santa’s Christmas Cabin, the enchanting Snow and Glow show with nightly falling snow set to thousands of sparkling lights and traditional Christmas music.
