For the past few months (yes! months!!!) we’ve had horrible internet connection. I’ve called my cable company many times and yet it seems that we can’t seem to connect when we want to stream movies or surf the net. I am at the end of my rope with them. I’ve upgraded, downgraded and upgraded again. It’s a never-ending story with our internet service. I have searched endlessly for internet services where I live. And well, I must have the worst luck because I am stuck with the services I have now. Sad, I know. Is it so hard to get great service? I’m paying so much money a month, only to have poor connection. The struggle, my friends.
During the holidays, I told you about a little fiesta I went to that was sponsored by Verizon Wireless. There, I learned about Verizon’s 4G LTE Broadband. I connected via my phone and immediately, I was impressed with how fast my phone was performing, even while others were connected on the same router.

For a review, I was sent a Verizon 4G LTE Broadband Router with Voice. This router allows me to get internet and home phone from one device. Now, I don’t own a landline or a home phone (sorry!), so I wasn’t able to test out the full potential of this particular router. The set up was easy! All I did was plug it in, and that’s it. I was up and running.
The router itself comes with many features. Check it out:
- Maintain your ability to make calls during power outages .It’s been years since we’ve had home phone service. I know that in case of an emergency, we probably will have a hard time getting a hold of each other. It’s nice to know that this particular router will still function, as it comes with a battery backup that will provide hours of much-needed phone access, in case your power should go out.
- Stay connected away from home. Take it with you where ever you go! Yes, it’s compact enough for it to fit in your suitcase when traveling. As long as it has a power source, you’ll always be connected! With the Verizon 4G LTE Broadband Router with Voice, you get a reliable, secure phone and Internet connection anywhere within the Verizon LTE network. Pretty cool, huh?
Now, let’s talk connection
The internet speed was fantastic. It’s amazing fast. I was able to connect immediately upon hooking up my device. Surfing was a breeze, I always had strong bars on my laptop. I tested the connection from the living room, kitchen, the kids’ room and my bedroom. I had full bars in all the rooms. At one time, I have my laptop, my phone, my son’s laptop and his phone, plus a mini iPad all connected and the speed kept up with all of it. It’s a great device for any home. I am satisfied with the internet service provided by the Verizon 4G LTE Broadband Router with Voice.
